When a Ghost Becomes a Shadow

Take a look at these great photos from last year's Festival of Speed.

Yeah - the Silver Ghost over takes the Ghost, and becomes a shadow.

Great stuff.

Still waiting to see the car underneath the cover!

A new Rolls-Royce

I wonder what is hiding under this cover?

This is a live picture from the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

All queses are the new Ghost/Wraith based drop head coupe.

I do hope it will be called the Corniche.

We will see.

And here it is - not the new one - just another limited edition Phantom DHC.

Oh well - still waiting for the Ghost/Wraith based convertible.

Here is the back story of the Rolls-Royce Waterspeed Collection.

Here is the yellow Bentley GT V8 S and the red Rolls-Royce Wraith going up the Hill at Goodwood.

The Bentley starts at 5:59.10 seconds and the Rolls-Royce is the next car after.

Rolls-Royce has bought along a bright red Wraith.

Press play for see if speed by.

And Rolls-Royce's tweet.

Bentley has set up a whole stand, and bough some great cars along.

Bentley has bought along a bright yellow Continental GT V8 S.

Yeah and that is Jay Kay's bright green The Ferarri, in between the Bentley and the Rolls-Royce.

And here is a quick video tour around the Supercar Paddock.

More to come later. Hopefully more pictures of Old #1, Old #2 and Old #3.

Cars & 'Planes.

This past Sunday our local RROC (Upper Canada) attended a meet at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. What a fantastic place.

Almost all of the aeroplanes there actually still fly regularly.

And many have Rolls-Royce Merlin or Griffon engines.

We were told (seriously) that if the 'plane's engines don't drip oil, then they don't work.... Hmmm, that sounds familiar.

The star of the museum is the one of only two Avro Lancasters in the world that still fly.

Four Rolls-Royce Merlins.

This 'plane will be flying to the U.K. early August to fly with the only other one.
Incredible to think the skies were one filled with these....

We got a private tour inside.

It was a thrill.

This place is a must see for anyone.

But back to the cars...

It's also amazing to remember that London was once full of these....
