This past Sunday our local RROC (Upper Canada) attended a meet at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. What a fantastic place.
Almost all of the aeroplanes there actually still fly regularly.
And many have Rolls-Royce Merlin or Griffon engines.
We were told (seriously) that if the 'plane's engines don't drip oil, then they don't work.... Hmmm, that sounds familiar.
The star of the museum is the one of only two Avro Lancasters in the world that still fly.
Four Rolls-Royce Merlins.
This 'plane will be flying to the U.K. early August to fly with the only other one.
Incredible to think the skies were one filled with these....
We got a private tour inside.
It was a thrill.
This place is a must see for anyone.
But back to the cars...
It's also amazing to remember that London was once full of these....
