Bentley and Veuve Clicquot

Oh my...Veuve Clicquot champagne have got their hands on a Bentley.....

Dark purple and delicious orange.

It's a 1966 Mulliner S3 that belongs to Edouard de Nazelle.

It sure beats this thing...

I'm thirsty now.

A Dog's Life

Back in 2008 Bentley Spotting posted shots of this interesting 1976 Silver Shadow 'estate car' conversion.

A baby carrier back then.
Alloys and a Webasto roof too.

Here are shots of it as a splendid 'Kennel Car' this time sporting Silver Wraith II/ Corniche/ Camargue wheel trims. The Webasto roof still fully operational.

'Posh Paws'

Lucky dogs.

Bentley T at 'U of T'

Finally she is back in the big city from wintering in the countryside.

I took the new Old Thing down the the University of Toronto grounds for a few photos.

Just a nice quiet early morning drive in Toronto.

The 'un' Rolls-Royce or Bentley

Oh yeah..... the British Leyland Daimler DS420.

The 'un' Rolls-Royce...

It really ought not to be on this site.
London's elite in the 1970's and 1980's had a Rolls-Royce, a Bentley or (perhaps AND) one of these.

Part of any typical Mayfair London scene. Just like a Routemaster bus.
There was no other competition for A Crewe car back then.
Just this.

Yes, there's one in the background here.

The British Leyland ads were hilarious!

Apparently Hooper lost out on the deal.
Body by 'Van Den Plas...'

Again,  I stress the 'un' Rolls-Royce.
But it does fit right in.

All four thousand of them.

Doing the Continental?

Rolls-Royce in disguise....

Usually Bentleys were converted to Rolls-Royces later in life but here is a 1985 Rolls-Royce Corniche modified fully to a Bentley Continental.

Bot just badges and a grille, but a new bonnet too for the different curved end.

And wheel trims.

The question is:
 "Was it worth the effort?"

Rolls-Royce Owners Club of Australia Federal Rally

The Rolls-Royce Owners Club of Australia Federal Rally kicked off today in Bendigo Australia.

I'm in Taipei, Taiwan so am not in attendance, but here are some photos from the breakfast run.

That's a nice Bentley.

Lots of people fit in a Phantom.

Old followed by new.

I do like a drop head.

More pictures will be posted of the Rally as they come through.
