Grandes Coches Rolls-Royce

Here is 25 minutes from the History Channel on Grandes Coches Rolls-Royce.

Corzure...

This unique LHD Corniche V is for sale by Colbrook's in the U.K.
But the car is actually located in British Columbia, Canada.

It was a factory car which started life as a Bentley Azure but was then modified for shows.
Major body modifications. Those rear quarters alone...

It has a console shift which most Rolls-Royce Corniches do not have. The Bentley bits showing here - the alloys, the dash too, more Bentley.
It has crossed the Atlantic a number of times and was finally sold in 2002 when it ended up in Canada.

The only part of the VIN in the ad is
170389

So is it registered as a Bentley or a Rolls-Royce?
Marinus, anybody...?

Thanks to Richard V for bringing this to my attention.

This one is a goodie.

The Silver Shadow Owners' Companion

This is a good book to have if you own a Silver Shadow or T series.

Here's a sampling:

It is full of advice from Jon's own Silver Shadow restoration and ownership.
Here's his car in the flesh:

And on Youtube:

He also has this lovely Bentley S2 which I had the pleasure of following in our convoy to Louisville:

(He's the leader behind the Harvester).

Jon's a good man to know.

Apparently another book is in the works...
Watch out for it.

Oh, and it's Waples as in 'Staples'....
Not 'Apples', okay?

In the Pink

Good job, ErikG NL. Now on www.Autogespot.com

A pink (wrapped) Phanton FHC.

Somewhat outrageous...

All that's missing is the FAB1 number plate.

Where's Lady Penelope...?

Or maybe Chris Evans car has that one.

Credits again to ErikG NL.

2012 Bentley Continental GTC Cruises Croatia

This guy is having fun with the top off.

"Would You Loike a Cuppov Tea Father"

Ahh, Father Ted, that hilarious old TV show.

Mrs. Doyle and her tea.

What a face. You couldn't turn down that cuppa, could you?

Don't - she gets rather upset....

Well, old Mrs. Doyle would love Ebay USA this week.
There are a number of Ts:

This white one:

Not so sure about the garbage bags in the background.

The same seller has this one too:

It sits a bit low at the front, but it's fixable.

Then this 1969:

Finally a very rare T2:

As you know, I love the SY series cars (Silver Shadows and Ts) but that rounded Bentley grille does work so well on this bodyshell....

Rolls-Royce Silver Swarovski Cloud

So, are you a queen that likes a little bling?

Maybe some razzle dazzle glitterarti on the side? Las Vagas baby, with lots of young male helpers?

We need a grand entrance for this car.

And Liberace's is perfect, with his beautiful Rolls-Royce Phantom V.

Just watch, it's special.

So do you love it?

Do you want to be like Liberace?

Well here is your chance!

Look at this flashiness.

Sparkle sparkle sparkle!

Yes, it is adored, or course adored with over 1 million Swarovski crystals.

Now you just need to get yourself about 100 virgin foxes to make your coat.

It is a bit special.

It is a 1962 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II.

But really, all Crewe enthusiasts would know that Liberace's Rolls-Royce Phantom V sedanca coupe is so much better than this Silver Swarovski Cloud II.

Nothing like bickering queens.

1964 Bentley S3 Continental flying Spur Mulliner Park Ward.

Another beautiful car.

Flying Spur.

I liked the headlamp disco.

1965 Bentley S3 Continental Drophead Coupe

Check out Terry's 1965 Bentley S3 Continental Drophead Coupe.

Very cool video.

Big want!

Drop Head Coupe.

Son, the head drops down on a drop head coupe.

Automatically.

More Canadian Rolls-Royces

This one I really like:

With a set of twenty six inchers....

I think it looks fantastic:

Onto another one.

Why does nobody want this one here? This was Drizzy's car?
It's still for sale. And cheap....

This picture looks like a Police Mug Shot.

Here are mine from when he lived on my street:

The seller won't (maybe can't) mention Drake, but did lease this car for a few months...

It's way up there..

See?

At the time I had no idea who's car this was. I just wanted photos.

This street is good for B&RR spotting...

And around the corner...
