Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible

Let's just say you are taking a walk down a pier in Portugal.

Then you notice some activity up ahead. I wonder what they are doing?

I'll go for a walk up there and see.

Oh, its a photo shoot. There is a tripod and a big camera.

The camera assistance is working away creating shade.

Now take a look at what they are photographing. It is a Bentley with a black clover over it. Are they hiding something special?

Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible

Oh good. Man are removing the covers so we can see more of the Bentley.

Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible

Yes it is a special Bentley. It is a yet to be released Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible. Take a look at the distinct Supersports front bumper and those bonnet vents.

Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible

I think it will be the most powerful Bentley drop head ever.

So if this car is released, that will mean that there are eight, yes 8 cars in the Bentley Continental range. Lets name them:

Bentley Continental GT
Bentley Continental Flying Spur
Bentley Continental GTC
Bentley Continental GT Speed
Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed
Bentley Continental GTC Speed
Bentley Continental Supersports
Probably the Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible

It is pretty obvious that it would not make any sense to build a Bentley Continental Flying Spur Supersports due to the removal of the back seats, though I would like to see the long name written on the door sill.

But the question is where is the station wagon/shooting brake or ute/mini truck varieties? Come on. There is probably only a few years to go before a totally new car comes out!

Or more realistically a swan song of a Bentley Continental SC, or sedanca coupé? Only 100 examples, or something like that?

Anyway, nice spotting MigX from Pistonheads of the probable Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible.
