RROC Detroit Day 4

I'll start with a few late arrivals yesterday evening.

Then this morning we were off to two amazing big private car collections - but not a Bentley or Rolls-Royce in sight.

Nice, but I was suffering withdrawal.

So back to the meet hotel we go to reflect.

The new GTC was there to greet us.

With fiends.

Detroit Day 3 and a bit.

More from the grounds....

Lonely at the top.

And outside again.

One simply cannot get enough.

RROC Detroit Day 3

After the morning was spent at the fantastic GM Heritage Center (no RRs or Bs there...) we get off the bus back at the hotel to be greeted by a mini Rolls-Royce Motor Cars 'show and tell'.

Old meets new.

And the day's not even over yet....

RROC Detroit Day 2

Well, another fun filled action packed day today.
The famous Ford Rouge factory, the Henry Ford museum and then dinner at Meadow Brook Hall.
Meadow Brook....What a place.

The Bentley Welcome Dinner.

The new GTC. Rear yellow plate on the front?

Bentayga,

And others.
The famous Davidson's Coal Merchant's car from Belfast.

A four seater Mulsanne. Who needs five?

And a car park to die for...

Oh my, oh my....

You just can't beat these club events.
The best of the best.
"Mine's bigger than yours!"

That's what it's all about.

RROC, RREC, BDC.

Just do it. Join up.

(Posted by David Irvine) - and no photos of mine today......

RROC National Day 1

We made it, no problems at all. Good thing for a 45 year old car.

Yeah... Lotsa gas...

Lots of breaks.

Finally our place.

With friends....

A good week coming up.

First full day tomorrow,

Hey, this one's bigger than mine.

Detroit Here We Come! Watch This Space.

Well, in our usual manner, this year's RROC event (in Motor City, Michigan this time) will be covered daily by myself with The Old Thing.
Not the white thing...

Off on the Epic Trip tomorrow morning.

Watch this space daily as of tomorrow evening for the next seven days.
