The Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong is famous throughout the world for its fleet of Rolls-Royce courtesy cars.
And here is a photo of two of the current Phantom EWB fleet:
But the Peninsula Hotel is not the only Hong Kong hotel to have/had some impressive courtesy cars.
In the 80s and 90s, The Regent Hotel's fleet comprising 2 x Rolls-Royce Phantom VI and multiple Daimler 4.2 Limousines was just as well known.
Here is a photo of one of the Phantom VI taken during a visit to Hong Kong in the late nineties:
It's surrounded by six or seven of the Daimler 4.2 Limousines...
And here is the second one!
In 2001, Intercontinental Hotels took over operation of the hotel, and the fleet of Daimler 4.2 Limousines was gradually replaced by modern Mercedes saloons.
But the Phantom VIs are still there, repainted dark blue, and still occasionally seen ferrying the hotels most important guests to and from their engagements.
Here are some webfind photos:
Please send us your photos of Rolls-Royce & Bentley hotel courtesy cars...we would love to see them!
