From The Classifieds

Following on from the "A [Modern Day] Country Life" post of a few days back, this week's "From The Classifieds" features a Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible currently on sale in Australia:

The car in question is a 1976 model, chassis # DRH22921, originally supplied by HR Owen, Berkeley Street, London but subsequently resident "down under" for more than two decades.

It's one of the very last European specification "chrome bumper" cars, sometimes referred to as "Series 1A", and benefits from updated dashboard, split level air-conditioning and other improvements.

Restored in its original specification of nutmeg brown metallic with magnolia leather and brown carpets, it has covered just under 79,000 miles from new and is being offered at approximately US $80,000...

And according to the excellent www.rrsilvershadow.com it is one of only 36 RHD examples built to the specification.

Perfect for cruising across Sydney Harbour Bridge...
