Down Under, Part 2

While traveling "Down Under" I made contact with Mrs Judith Merlin of the RROC of Australia who very kindly invited me to join the RROC National Meet that was taking place in Sydney that year.

Judith Merlin is well known within the RROC for her passion for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and here is an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald where she talks about her 1974 Silver Shadow:

Back in 1993, Judith owned a beautiful 1951 Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn and I had the pleasure of attending the National Meet with Judith and her husband, traveling from the starting point in Double Bay to Vacluse, where the cars were gathered with the fantastic Sydney skyline as a backdrop.

Here are some photos:

Back then I was still an aspiring Rolls-Royce owner, but everyone I met only further encouraged my ambitions.

So many thanks to Judith and the RROC of Australia for their hospitality and an unforgettable day out – I'm pleased to report that I did fulfill my dream!

Andy
