Queen Elizabeth II & Duke Edinburgh Visit Nigeria

The visit was held in 1956, and the car?
Well it is a 1952 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith LWB registration number ALW 11.

The body is very nice, and was made by Hooper & Co. Body No. 9867. Design No. 8335 being a 4 door cabrolet.
The lights embedded into the front fenders you don't see everyday.

You're quite correct about the headlights. You do see them on the Hooper-Bodied 'New Look'Daimlers. Interesting coincidence, that, since the royal family would shortly transition from official Daimlers to Rolls-Royce...
