NACA Ducts & Wing Vents

This Turbo RL has been modified with NACA ducts and wing vents...

 

 

 

Let's take a closer look...

 

 

 

The ducts are similar to the ones found on some Hooper coachbuilt cars of the late eighties...

 

 

Here are some close-up photos of the wing vents...

 

 

 

These are reminiscent of those found on the James Young Turbo R...

 

 

I'm not sure either serve any real purpose...

 

But they do make the car stand out.
