From The Classifieds

This week From The Classifieds features a Bentley Arnage Final Series.

The Final Series was the run out model of the Arnage range with production limited to just 150 examples. Being the last of the series it benefited from all the improvements made to the model during its lifespan, and was fitted with the 500BHP / 738 lbs ft torque engine and 6-speed ZF automatic transmission.

Externally, the Final Series came with 20-inch alloys, retractable "B" mascot, lower front wing vents and a jewel style fuel filler cap, while inside, it featured unique chrome trim, cocktail cabinet, picnic tables, drilled alloy pedals and 4 x Bentley umbrellas.

Quoted top speed was 179 mph with 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds.

Here is a link to the Bentley Motors press release of September 24th 2008 introducing the car: http://www.bentleymedia.com/release-77.htm

First registered in September 2009, this example is finished in storm grey and has just 20,835 recorded miles.

The interior features diamond quilted leather in linen with imperial blue.

And the 20-inch five spoke split-rim alloys really set the car apart from earlier examples.

No formal price information was given at launch, but in the UK, the superceded Bentley Arnage T had listed at GBP 178,200 for a standard specification car.

The asking price for this Final Series is GBP 79,995.
