Bentley Turbo RT Mulliner

I am a huge fan of the Bentley Turbo RT Mulliner.

It's the swan song of the Turbo R where 50 examples were made and were all commissioned, so are all different.

Here are some of the options from the brochure.

Yes, the Race number spot is a must.

When I was in the UK last year, a very cool owner invited me around to check out one in his garage.

Here it is. I love the smooth bumper bars.

Follow me on Instagram http://instagram.com/bentleyspotting by the way - I upload one picture daily of cars I've spotted.

It was special to see one of 17 right hand drive cars in the flesh. Thanks to you know who.

So you want one?

Well one is for sale by RR&B Garages for £49,950.

Notice the lights have been changed to clear indicators from the original amber.

I think with this colour it looks good. Not the first Turbo RT Mulliner to do this also.

I always like looking at RT Mulliner cars as you never know what options were commissioned.

But the red start button at the centre of the dash is a must.

Straight away you can tell this is a more traditional spec car.

Would you like a speedo mounted in the rear so the back seat can see how fast you are going? On no!

Walnut please, not that brash turned alloy dash that the young kids like.

But I'll have the maximum power please.

And put those upgraded brakes in as well. Safer.

What I really like is the front and rear bumper bars and those side skirts.

They would look great on my car with a race number spot!

Something interesting about the ad that I did not know was that of the 50 Bentley Turbo RT Mulliner cars made and of the 17 right hand drive cars - only only 7 of these cars were registered in the UK.

That means that 10 right hand drive cars are out there in Hong Kong, Japan, South East Asia, South Africa and maybe even Australia.

I'm hoping Australia, as they are not able to be imported second hand and it give me ever so slight hope that one could be in Australia which I want to buy!

But I doubt it. My guess is most of the 10 are in the Sultan of Brunei's garages.
