Sir Robert Menzies' Bentley

Here is a video from the National Museum of Australian in Canberra, about former Prime Minister of Australia, Sir Robert Menzies' Bentley.

And here is the car at The Lodge, the official residence of the Prime Minister.

I've heard that the Museum has been looking after it for a while now. I hope the let is stretch it's legs on occasions.

I`ve worked on this vehicle - back in 1990 my Wife and I worked for an Estate Agent who had a passion for old Bentleys - he lived with his young wife at Rosecraddock, a large 19th century mansion in Caulfield, Melb, amongst the extensive collection of Rolls Royce and Bentley automobiles was the above, still fitted with the Army radio-phone used by sir Menzies, I only drove it on a few occasions as I was employed to look after all of his fleet of cars, numbering in the dozens, he had a number of shipping containers on the property, each containing a Rolls Royce or Bentley, with a few other marques stored in the old stables on the property. It was an interesting job to say the least, I`ll never forget those cars.
