Yellow Bentley Continental T Personal Commission
The Bentley Continental T Personal Commission is a great car.
In yellow, it is one of one.
For the full Bentley Motors Press Release from 29 May 2000 read it here.
I really like the moulded bumper bars and the side sills.
The car went of a European tour once it was announced.
Off to somewhere in the countryside.
It certainly does draw a crowd.
Then ended up at Le Man, before being the feature car at the Paris Motor show.
Here it is at the 2000 Paris Motor Show.
What we think is that the car then ended up in Hong Kong
Black custom wheels when then added.
I don't think the black wheels are an improvement.
Then a few years ago it appeared for sale in Germany here to be imported from HKSAR.
The car was subsequently sold and imported to Germany.
The original wheels were then re-fitted.
The interior is pretty cool.
And what does any self respecting German do with their newly purchased rare supercar?
Take it to the Nürburgring of course.
Here is video footage of the car on the track, now sporting its original wheels.
Did you see the bumper sticker?
I think it says "Tage nicht was du nicht toten kannst"
With the help of Google translate, I think it means "Hunt not what you cannot kill".
Deep and dangerous.
And to make this post even better?
How about a period video review of this car.
The Silver Tempest Bentley Continental T Personal Commission was reported on previously here.
