Twin Turbo R's in Canberra

This photo feels really weird to me.

Because it is me following my Bentley Turbo R, whilst driving a Bentley Turbo R. There is a Silver Cloud taking a right in the distance as well.



That's right, two Bentley Turbo R's came out to play today and we each had a drive.



And here they are. SCBZSOTO8HCH21535 and SCBZR03A0HCH26160.

One a 1988 and the other a 1989 Bentley Turbo R.



Both are 20K series Turbo R's however between 1988 and 1989 there are a few visual and mechanical changes.

The front air dam and rear spoilers are different, as are the headlamp washer jets. In the engine bay the water bottles are located in different places and the 89 have more plastic covers over things.



I do like the badge bar, however I like my mesh grille as well.

Mine is an Aussie delivery car, and as such does not have the VIN displayed in full in the door sill.



The other Turbo R is a UK delivered car, first delivered to H R Owens. It then lived in Hong Kong for a while, was imported to Australia via sunny Queensland then to Victoria, before being sold to Western Australia.



Now it's in the Australian Capital Territory.
