The Incomparable

Bentley Spotting often features limousines by the English coachbuilders of Hooper & Co and Robert Jankel Design.

But here’s something from the other side of the Atlantic – an advertisement for “The Incomparable” Silver Spur Stretch Limousine by Coffman Coachworks of Clearwater, Florida.

It dates from 1983.

A full 47 inch stretch, with state of the art Sony Color TV, video recorder and am/fm quad stereo.

And don’t forget the electronically warmed seat cushions.

Unfortunately the Coffman Coachworks business appears to have been dissolved several years ago.

Does anyone know any more about them?

Andy,

Yes my Dad founded and created it. I can get you in contact with him if you would like. Thanks Dan Coffman

I also remember driving in it when I was a kid. My Dad used to bring me to school in it and also he would go to trade shows with it.
