Yes the car is advertised for £350,000.00 in 1991. Now, how much is that worth in todays money? According to www.measuringworth.com
£350,000.00 in 1991 is worth £771,303.41 in 2006 using the GDP, or £643,531.91 using average earnings.
By comparison the Bugatti Veyron costs €1,100,000 or £768,000.00. The same price as the Bentley Hooper Empress II.
I think the guy who picked one up for £37600 in 2005 here got a pretty good deal. Try and explain that depreciation to the wife. Her shoe collection does not really matter any more.
Now for some high resolution photographs.
