Toronto's Bentley and Rolls-Royce dealership 'Grand Touring Automobiles' is finally getting a new home.
The old location on Dupont Street is just too small now.....
Now a new 141,000 square foot dealership is under construction on Dundas Street East. It will house Grand Touring's other premium brands too.
Bugatti, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Landrover/Range Rover and Jaguar.
It will be the largest luxury car dealership in Canada with five floors and rooftop parking. Three separate showrooms and thirty nine service bays with 100 employees.
The groundbreaking ceremony was this past summer. Bentley's Paul Heenan (third from left) and Rolls-Royce's Gerry Spahn (last on right) were there with the other brands' reps and their shovels.
Dig deep lads....
Well, I fly by there every day in my (imaginary) private plane, so I can give updates on the progress.
Hammering in the 100 foot pilons:
Erecting the crane:
I will update the progress as it goes on.
And I do hope my Old Thing and I will be invited to the official opening in 2017.
