Camargue, Up Close & Personal.
Up close and personal with a Rolls-Royce Camargue.
Rodd Sala has my favorite modern Rolls-Royce, one of just 531 made and who knows just how many are still around...
So, some details most onlookers don't notice:
The outside.
She's on Ebay....

A very pretty Camargue, I stopped reading Mr Sala's description after his statement that the Camargue's body was "hand-made in Italy and shipped to Rolls-Royce in Crewe where they were all re-worked to Rolls-Royces rigid standards." This is absolutely and blatantly false.
The Camargue was designed by Paolo Martin at Pininfarina, under the codename 'Delta' and from its introduction until 1978, the bodies were made by Mulliner Park Ward. Thereafter, and until the end of production, all assembly was carried out in Crewe with the bodies being supplied by Pressed Steel Fisher.
Those are the facts, and I am certain that Sir David Plastow would back me up on them.
Sala has always been full of crap.
