Velvet T

An interesting 1974 T series Bentley on Ebay. One of Rodd Sala's Park-
Ward Motors' cars.

Nice plate, Rodd.
Taunting me again...

Regency Bronze with Gold Parkertex Savoy Velvet interior. Very few RR/s had velvet but it was indeed a factory option.

I love this:

Air dam too.

'Dam' nice.

During the 1980s I spotted an early 1970s Silver Shadow one (withour headrests) painted in Peacock Blue with blue Everflex and midblue Savoy Velvet seats - the best looking SS1 I ever saw!

PS: Spotted the above car at the Jack Barclay showroom then. Don't have apic, but maybe others do....?

I saw this particular car at Rolls Royce & Bentley Agent in Geneva, Switzerland, when it was near new, for sale at very attractive price. I fell in love with the interior, so smooth and comfortable, a marvel to touch. I wanted to buy it ...but the bronze colour finally made me say "No" to the sales person. I often think about this gorgeous interior and hope that I can find a Bentley or Rolls with such interior ...and a more discreet original body colour. Perhaps one day this dream comes true ? Best regards, A.S.
