RRoad Trip!

 

 

 

 

This morning we flew in to  Illinois to pick the Old Girl up from Rodd Sala's Park-Ward Motors in Cary, Illinois.

 

 

A few oil leaks and clunky suspension bits were addressed but the main thing was refitting the (refinished) old 15" steel rims and hupcaps to the car - instead of those 1990 Silver Spirit alloys I was really not too keen on.

 

 

What a difference - not only in looks but she feels better on the road  too.

Even in the rain.

 

 

 

 

The Old Thing performed well on her 800 km non stop run -Okay we did stop for fuel a few times.

 

 

Tomorrow we meet up in southwestern Ontario with a group from the Michigan RROC.

 

Will write up on how that goes later.

 

Many thanks to Rodd Sala and the boys for not only looking after Her but for what they do for other Silver Shadows. I love visiting this place.....
