Abandoned Rolls-Royces in Jeddah

Ahmad S. M. on Flickr has taken some amazing photos of abandoned cars and buildings in Jeddah.

Including great examples of coachbuilt cars like limos and stretched Range Rovers and the like.

Including this gem.

Abandoned Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow

Quite amazing.

Abandoned Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow

Parked up abandoned on the side of the street you have a Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith.

It looks like it has some pretty serious decay underneath.

Abandoned Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow

It is quite amazing to see a car like this just decaying on the side of the road, next to an open shop!

At least it has a brick to hold it in place - the building opposite looks quite respectable, despite another abandoned car on the other side of the road.

I wonder how many years it takes before it just falls apart!

According to the registration sticker the last time this car was registered it was 1987!

But if you think a Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith is a little old for you, try this one.

Abandoned Cars : Rolls-Royce Silver Spur

How about a Rolls-Royce Silver Spur simply parked and abandoned? Look at the rear, it is starting to join up with the ground!

Still with the Spirit of Ecstasy intact.

A rare kneeling example as well!

Two tone interior. It looks like a mid 1990s example. Hold in there old - or young - boy!

Quite amazing.

Thanks so much Ahmad for uploading the photos and chatting. Keep it up!

It's not a Silver Wraith, it's a Silver Shadow LWB. The "Silver Wraith II" name only appeared on the LWB cars with the introduction of the Silver Shadow II, externally identifiable by more modern bumpers and a squatter, one-inch thicker grille.

Either way it's disrespectful
