Back to Front...

Back in 1979 I spotted this Silver Shadow on a London street with 'Old Eleanor' turned the other way. An owner with a sense of humour or careful vandalism?

But how about this current Ebay Silver Wraith II:

"What of it?", you ask.

Look at the all flat front bumper.
Interesting rubber impact strips - skillfully cut out for the front plate.

Then the rear:

Hmmm....
What's with the 'indentation'?

Well, it should look like this at the front:

And this at the rear:

Smooth.

So now we have proof that the front and rear bumpers on an SY series car are almost interchangeable.
You always wanted to know that, right?

Somebody, please buy and rescue this Wraith II, but you'll need a wrench - oh, and a lot of Connolly leather too.

If anyone does buy that Silver Wraith II and decides to fit a leather interior, I will happily make them an offer for the burgundy Parkertex Savoy velvet currently there. I need it for the rear of my Shadow LWB Division car!
