I saw it today in Toronto.
It's spectacular.
Here she is naked:
Sounds too good to be true?
Well, I wasn't allowed to sit in her.
Here's why:
And here's the seller, Morry Barmak of Collector Studio.
"1/5 1930 Bentley 4.5L Blower. An incredible large scale scratch built model made almost entirely from metal from around 7300 (!!) pieces. The body is brass over a wooden frame with leather paneling, just like the real car. It features full engine detail, working cloth top and opening doors as well as the following; operational steering, adjustable choke (from the steering wheel), moveable gearshift, opening hood, opening petrol and radiator caps, removable wheels with locking spinners, movable hand brake, pedal and clutch; movable windscreen, removable seats and floor panels & functioning bottle jack. Nothing is missing on this spectacular museum quality model! A special edition of just 10 are being built for our shop. Each one is being constructed differently (colors, options) and will be unique and a one-off. You can also order the 1930 Le Mans winner as driven in both 1929 & 1930 by drivers Woolf Barnato, Henry Birkin & Glen Kidston. These measure 37.5x13x14" (LxWxH) with engine cowl open and weigh about 46 lbs. Expensive - but worth it! This is the World's most complex large scale vintage car model. Enquire for more photos."
Thanks Morry.
