It's always interesting when you can find something significant in a car's history.
Here's a VERY special 1967 Bentley T.
Ok, so it's actually blue, not grey.....
Onto the story:
Earl's Court in London. Home of the Motorshows many years ago.
Back in 1967:
Back then Rolls-Royce and Bentley actually had separate stands.
Two Bentleys. One LHD and one RHD on display in 1967.
Rippon Brothers Ltd. originally ordered a Sand over Sable Bentley T for the show but then changed the order. Note the bit at the bottom saying 'Earl's Court Show'.
Here's the amendment:
A quick stroke of a pen....
Then the official order showing the Astral Blue and blue leather:
Well, that RHD car recently turned up on Ebay U.S.A. (now sold).
Even sporting it's original 1967 Huddersfiled number plate. MCX666F
With it's blue leather interior.
With wonderful period Paddy Hopkirk Accessories door mirrors.
What an amazing conversation piece for any car event.
An Earl's Court Car.
A gorgeous car too.
